SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) TS-25-03 "AVA Cameras"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested network cameras, mounts, and licensing to the Technology Services Departments, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
(B) TS-25-04 "Netmotion Renewal Licenses"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested Netmotion renewal licenses for the City of Pembroke Pines, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
NetMotion securely extends the City’s network to the mobile environment for Police, Code Compliance, Fire, City IT and Administration. It is mobile VPN software that maximizes mobile field worker productivity by maintaining and securing their data connections as they move in and out of wireless coverage areas and roam between networks. Designed specifically for wireless environments, Netmotion provides IT managers with the security and centralized control needed to effectively manage a mobile deployment. Netmotion complements existing IT systems, are highly scalable, and easy to deploy and maintain.
(C) RE-25-01 "Stage Lighting for The Susan B. Katz Theater of the Performing Arts"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide an upgrade to the existing stage lighting system located at The Susan B. Katz Theater of the Performing Arts at the River of Grass ArtsPark to an energy-efficient stage lighting system, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
The River of Grass ArtsPark is a collaboration between the City of Pembroke Pines and the Broward County Cultural Division. The park is home to The Susan B. Katz Theater of the Performing Arts, a 442-seat theater with six designated handicapped seating areas. It is situated at 17195 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33331, on the City of Pembroke Pines Academic Village Charter School campus.
The Performing Arts Theater serves the City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and is also utilized by various organizations, such as the Pembroke Pines Theatre of Performing Arts (PPTOPA). PPTOPA is dedicated to providing the community with theatrical productions that inspire, entertain, and celebrate the arts. Through high-quality live theater and educational outreach, it promotes diversity and cultural awareness, making these experiences accessible to all. PPTOPA strives to deliver affordable, high-quality entertainment while offering opportunities to our community and for individuals to participate in the creation of theater at this community theater in the City of Pembroke Pines.
