SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) RE-25-07 "NEW CHILLER FOR STUDIO 18"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to install a 40-ton-air-cooled chiller with related mechanical and electrical upgrades at Studio 18, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation
The installation of a new chiller unit, including all necessary mechanical and electrical upgrades, is required to ensure uninterrupted operation and efficiency of Studio 18. The previous chiller is no longer available, as it is located in a building that was recently sold, making this replacement essential to maintain proper building functionality.
(B) PL-25-01 "GRANT ADMINISTRATION FOR COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant, to provide comprehensive administrative, technical, and compliance support services for the effective implementation and management of its housing and community development programs, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
(C) PL-25-02 "GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR HOME REPAIR PROJECTS "
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to perform residential home repair projects with significant and verifiable experience, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
This bid is designed to overlap the current pool of General Contractors for Home Repair Projects, in an effort to establish a new pool that will replace the current one upon its expiration, while allowing the new pool to be engaged immediately upon award of this solicitation.
(D) TS-25-18 "EXAGRID HARDWARE SUPPORT RENEWAL"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested annual ExaGrid hardware support and maintenance renewal for the City of Pembroke Pines, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
ExaGrid is the City’s dedicated hardware solution for backup storage and replication, built to safeguard critical data. It securely maintains system backups, enables rapid recovery when required, and provides data replication to ensure greater resilience and continuity of City operations.
(E) TS-25-19 "SHAREFILE SOFTWARE LICENSING RENEWAL"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested annual Sharefile software licensing renewal for the City of Pembroke Pines, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
ShareFile is the City’s secure file storage and sharing platform, designed to protect sensitive information while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. It allows staff and external partners to safely exchange large files that cannot be sent through email, while also providing encryption, access controls, and audit tracking for added security.
(F) TS-25-20 "SOPHOS ENDPOINT PROTECTION"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested Sophos renewal licenses for the City of Pembroke Pines, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
Renewal will be for the following Sophos endpoint protection products:
Central Managed Detection and Response Complete (MDRCEU12AGRGAA) - Sophos Central MDR Complete is a 24/7 managed detection and response service that combines human-led threat hunting with AI-powered monitoring to stop advanced attacks. It provides full-scale incident response, including threat elimination, root cause analysis, and direct SOC (Security Operations Center) access with a dedicated response lead. The service integrates with both Sophos and third-party tools, offers detailed reporting, and health checks.
Central Managed Detection and Response Complete Server (MDRCSS12BDRGAA) - Next-gen Endpoint Protection with threat hunting capabilities, and a fully managed 24/7 Threat Hunting and Response service for Servers.
Central Email Advanced (CEMAAU12AHRCAA) - Cloud email security powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to protect sensitive information and users from unwanted and malicious email.
Central Phish Threat (PHISHU12AHRGAA) - Provides for effective phishing simulations, automated training, and comprehensive reporting.
