SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1.  Claimant was injured as a result of an auto accident involving a City employee performing police duties.

 

2.  Legal counsel representing the City recommends settlement of claim in the amount of $100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars).

 

3.  Request Commission to authorize settlement agreement reached between the City of Pembroke Pines and Jacob Klaus, as parent of Eli Klaus, and Eli Klaus, individually.
