SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. At the request of the City Commission, the City Manager established a workshop on November 19, 2018 for various items, including a workshop item for the Procurement Director to go over the Procurement Process with the City Commission.
2. At the November 19, 2018 workshop meeting, there was not enough time to complete the workshop item regarding the procurement process. As a result, the Procurement Director continued the workshop item on December 5, 2018.
3. Similarly, at the December 5, 2018 workshop meeting, there was not enough time to complete the workshop item regarding the procurement process. As a result, the Procurement Director will continue the discussion on the procurement process on March 6, 2019 as a regular agenda item.
4. Attached to this agenda item is a copy of the presentation that was previously provided to the City Commission.
