SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. On July 21, 2025 the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County submitted Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP) agreement JP025-10-2026 in the amount of $24,769.06, with the effective dates of July 1, 2025 to June 15, 2026.
2. The EHEAP contract JP025-10-2026 will provide crisis assistance to seniors 60 years of age and older. Eligible elders may receive multiple crisis assistance not exceeding a total of $2,000.00 per period (July 1, 2025 - June 15, 2026).
3. Funds received under the EHEAP agreement JP025-10-2026 are distributed as follows:
