SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) PSPW-24-07 “Quarterly Right-of-Way Royal Palm Maintenance”
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide trimming and strapping services on the 1,227 Royal Palm Trees located throughout the City’s Right-of-Ways (ROW), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
(B) TS-24-17 “Lenel Takeover Project”
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide, install and configure card readers and the addition of new access control points across various locations within the Academic Village campus and West Campus locations, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. This upgrade will enable the use of a single credential across various sites linked to the citywide Lenel Access Control System (ACS). The upgrade of the card readers is essential to improve security and streamline access control across West Campus and Academic Village Campus.
(C) Boiler Plate
This attachment is the standard boiler plate language that is used for the solicitations listed above. It is attached to this agenda item separate from the solicitations to reduce the repetition of this item.
Financial Impact
FINANCIAL IMPACT DETAIL:
(A) PSPW-24-07 “Quarterly Right-of-Way Royal Palm Maintenance”
This project was not anticipated to be included in the 24-25 FY budget. If approved by Commission, the City will conduct a budget adjustment to 001-539-6004-534990-0000-000-0000 (Other Svc.)
(B) TS-24-17 “Lenel Takeover Project”
Funds are available in Account # 001-513-2002-552650-0000-000-0000-00308 (Non-capital Equipment) & 001-513-2002-552652-0000-000-0000-00308 (Non-capital Software & License)
