Summary Explanation and Background

1.  Hix Snedeker Companies and Fulcrum Construction (developer) of the Tractor Supply Co recently completed construction of their new store located at 20120 Pines Boulevard.

2. The developer sought to obtain their Certificate of Occupancy (CO) prior to the end of the calendar year, but had not completed components of their landscape permit.

3. The developer proposed posting a performance bond to ensure completion the work related to their landscaping permit (LP 2021-23) approved as part of the site development plan.

4. HSC Pembroke Pines, LLC through Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company posted a performance bond number 800150378 in the amount  of $55,047.70.

5. The City's landscape inspector has inspected the landscaping and found it to be consistent with the approved plans and specifications.

6. The Planning and Economic Development Department requests the release of Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company performance bond number 800150378 in the amount  of $55,047.70
