SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. The purpose and intent of the re-alignment of SW 54th Place was to ensure that the 20 foot area south of the guard-rail would be open for travel for the property owners in Southwest Ranches in the area.
2. The Right of Way Deed clarifies and confirms that intent. As a result of the deed, the northern 10 feet of the previous SW 54th Place is the property of the City for use for road purposes.
3. The City Manger's Office accepted the Right of Way Deed and the Consent of Mortgagee on behalf of the City by letter dated July 16, 2018.
4. A motion by the City Commission ratifying the acceptance of these documents is requested and recommended.
