SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. The School Resource Officer Agreement between the City and Renaissance Charter School calls for the City to assign a Police Officer as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at the Renaissance Charter School in Pembroke Pines (10501 Pines Blvd). Renaissance Charter School agrees to pay the City the sum of $66,982 for the services provided by one (1) Officer.
2. The term of the agreement is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
3. The City will receive $66,982 and this revenue will be credited to account #1-342120-3001-303; School Resource Officer (SRO).
4. The estimated expenditure for one School Resource Officer is as follows:

Revenue for one (1) SRO officer from Renaissance Charter School = $66,982

5. The agreement has been reviewed and approved as to legal form by the Police Legal Advisor.
