Summary Explanation and Background

 

SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1.                     The office of the Attorney General, State of Florida, has awarded the City Police Department $18,472.00 for FY2019 to continue funding the part-time Assistant Victim Advocate

2.                     This is a continuation of the 2017 -2018 VOCA program.

3.                     There is no required cash match funding. The 20% match will be met entirely through the in-kind service hours provided by Victim Services Unit contribution of volunteer service hours.

4.                     This funding cycle will commence on October 1st, 2018 and end on September 30th, 2019.

5.                     The agreement has been approved as to form by legal.

 

 

Item has been reviewed by the Commission Auditor and approved for the Agenda.
