SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. Current EHEAP Contract JP117-10-2018 was approved a the Commission Meeting of April 5, 2017 for a total amount of $30,250.09 for the period of April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. Amendment 001 was received on March 2, 2018 providing additional funds in the amount of $3,759.21 and extending the contract to September 30, 2018. On June 20, 2018 Amendment 002 was presented at the City Commission with an increase of the EHEAP funds in the amount of $13,851.10.
2. The new EHEAP Contract in the amount of $20,927.82 will be for the period of October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019. Total Funds are distributed as follows:

3. The EHEAP Contract provides assistance to low-income household with at least one (1) member 60 years of age or older experiencing a heating or cooling emergency.
4. Requesting Commission approval to continue the EHEAP Services to our Senior Community.
