Summary Explanation and Background
SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. As part of the Charter Schools' yearly audit from Broward Schools, evidence must be provided of the governing board's (i.e. City Commission) approval of School Improvement Plan ("SIP"). The Parent Advisory Boards must approve the SIP if there are changes to the District Code.
2. In addition, the Wellness Policy and Pro-Active Discipline plans must be approved each year.
3. The Charter Elementary/Middle School Advisory Board approved the Elementary School Improvement Plan, the Middle School Improvement Plan, the Elementary School Pro-Active Discipline plan, the Middle School Pro-Active Discipline plan, and the Wellness Policy at the November 13, 2018 meeting.
4. The Charter Academic Village Advisory Board approved the Charter Academic Village School Improvement Plan at the November 19, 2018 meeting, and the Wellness Policy at the December 10, 2018 meeting.
5. The FSU Advisory Board approved the FSU School Improvement Plan, the FSU Pro-Active Discipline plan; and the Wellness Policy at the December 12, 2018 meeting.
