SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. On May 15, 2019, the City Commission authorized the advertisement of TS-19-01 “Network Access Points and Mounts”, which was advertised on May 21, 2019.
2. The purpose of this solicitation was to provide indoor and outdoor wireless access points along with mounts (indoor only).
3. On June 4, 2019, the City opened four (4) proposals from the following vendors:

4. On July 31, 2019, the City's Contract Division forwarded a contract to ETK Financial Corporation for execution.
5. On August 14, 2019, ETK Financial Corporation responded by email to the Contract's Division stating that they would not be able honor the prices on their bid submittal as their prices were incorrect due to a typing error.
6. The Technology Services Department has reviewed the proposals and has deemed AIP US, LLC to be the most responsive/responsible proposer.
7. In addition, AIP US, LLC has also completed the Equal Benefits Certification Form and has stated that the "Contractor currently complies with the requirements of this section."
8. Request Commission to award TS-19-01 “Network Access Points and Mounts” to the most responsive/responsible bidder, AIP US, LLC in the amount not to exceed $179,865.48.
Item has been reviewed and approved by the Commission Auditor.
