MOTION TO APPROVE THE MASTER CONTRACT JM020-10-2022 BETWEEN THE AREAWIDE COUNCIL ON AGING OF BROWARD COUNTY, INC. AND THE CITY OF PEMBROKE PINES/SOUTHWEST FOCAL POINT SENIOR CENTER FOR THE PERIOD OF JANUARY 1, 2020 TO DECEMBER 31, 2022.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. The current Master Contract JM018-10-2020 will expire December 31, 2020. This Master Contract was presented at the Commission Meeting of November 1, 2017 with Agenda Item 17-0719. As per Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. The new Contract JM020-10-2022 will be referenced in all agreements that start after December 31, 2019.
2. The Master Contract incorporates the services specified in each contract agreement between the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. and the City of Pembroke Pines/Southwest Focal Point Senior Center. This Master Agreement language will no longer be included in each standard agreement.
3. The following are the current standard agreements the City of Pembroke Pines/Southwest Focal Point Senior Center has with the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc.:
- JA119-10-2019 Older Americans Act Titles IIIB-IIIE in the amount of $462,062.63. Contract Term: January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019.
- JL119-10-2020 Local Service Provider in the amount of $231,155.00. Contract Term: July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020.
- JP119-10-2020 Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program in the amount of $21,955.24. Contract Term: October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020.
4. This Master Contract JM020-10-2022 will be included by reference in all standard agreements mentioned above.
5. Requesting Commission approval.
