PROPOSED RESOLUTION 2020-R-29 IS A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PEMBROKE PINES, FLORIDA ACCEPTING A CORRECTIVE QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM ALEXIS M. BAKER, EDWARD BAKER, III, AND STEPHANIE L. BAKER, INDIVIDUALLY AND AS TRUSTEE OF THE BEATRICE LEVINSON REVOCABLE LIVING TRUST, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A;" PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

 

Summary Explanation and Background

 

SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1. The Alexis Bakers, Edward Baker III and Stephanie Baker, individually and as trustee to the Beatrice Levinson Revocable Living Trust, agreed to a municipal land dedication  associated with the Sheridan Business Center Property, generally located on the south side of Sheridan Street and approximately 1300 feet west of 196th Avenue.

 

2. The property conveyed to the City of Pembroke Pines will be used for public right-of-way along Sheridan Street.

 

3.  The Quit Claim Deed accepted by the City Commission of the City of Pembroke Pines and recorded Official Record Book 50821 at Page 978 of the Public Records of Broward County is being corrected to allow the Grantor ingress/egress from Sheridan Street over the property.

 

4. Administration recommends passing Proposed Resolution 2020-R-29.
