SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. On May 6, 2020, the City Commission authorized the advertisement of IFB # RE-20-05 “Asphalt Resurfacing of Linear Park Walking Path”, which was advertised on May 12, 2020.
2. The purpose of this solicitation was to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to repair and repave approximately 25,000 square feet of an asphalt path at Linear Park to ensure safe and level surfaces for the public to utilize. The Park is located within the FP&L easement north of Craig Rupp Dog Park on Johnson Street and south of Taft Street.
3. On July 21, 2020, the City opened six (6) proposals from the following vendors:

4. The Recreation & Cultural Arts Department has reviewed the bids and has deemed All Paving, Inc. to be the most responsive/responsible bidder.
5. In addition, All Paving, Inc has completed the Equal Benefits Certification Form and have stated that the "Contractor currently complies with the requirements of this section."
6. Request Commission to award IFB # RE-20-05 “Asphalt Resurfacing of Linear Park Walking Path”, to the most responsive/responsible bidder, All Paving, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $36,263.13, which includes a owner’s contingency of $1,500 and a permit allowance in the amount of $1,628.12.
