Summary Explanation and Background

 

SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1. This portion of the United States Postal Service Plat generally located along SW 160th Avenue is a 50-foot opening located 40 feet from the south property line.

 

2. Greenspoon Marder, LLP, on behalf of Lennar Homes is requesting to amend United States Postal Service Plat to allow for a modified opening for the proposed residential site plan.

 

3. The existing 50 foot opening with centerline located 40 feet from the south plat limits restricted to right turns only.

 

4. The new proposed 50 foot opening with centerline located 136 feet from the south plat limits restricted to right turns only.

 

5. Broward County is requesting a Letter of No Objection from the City for the approval of a delegation request to amend the United States Postal Service Plat Non-Vehicular access line as recorded in PB 137, Page 18 of the Public Records of Broward County.

 

6. The Environmental Services Division has reviewed the request and recommends that the City of Pembroke Pines agree to the modifications of the non-vehicular access line (NVAL) opening.

 

7. Recommend that the Environmental Services Division be authorized to write a letter to Broward County indicating that the City has no objection to the modification of the non-vehicular access line (NVAL) opening.
