SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) RE-20-08 “Parks Tree Trimming Services”
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to perform palm tree and hardwood tree trimming services throughout the City's Park system.
(B) PSUT-20-11 "Installation of New Generator at Master Lift Station"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to install a new 230KW standby diesel fuel generator and 1000 gallon fuel tank at
Master Lift Station #4 located around 11300 SW 9th Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025.
(C) TS-20-07 "Mobile Carts for Pembroke Pines Charter Schools"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide the requested Mobile Chromebook Carts for the City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools.
(D) PSUT-20-12 "Mechanical Integrity Testing of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Injection Wells"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, to furnish all materials, equipment and labor and to perform all work in accordance with the Contract Documents for the City of Pembroke Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant Class 1 Injection Well Mechanical Integrity Testing. The Director of Environmental Services has advised that the “Mechanical Integrity Testing of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Injection Wells” does not require the “services within the scope of the practice of architecture, professional engineering, landscape architecture, or registered surveying and mapping, as defined by the laws of the state, or those performed by any architect, professional engineer, landscape architect, or registered surveyor and mapper in connection with his or her professional employment or practice.” Therefore, the “Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act” CCNA basic construction cost threshold limits do not apply to the procurement of this project.
(E) PD-20-03 "School Crossing Guards"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, to establish a multi-year contract for the provision of School Crossing Guard Services on an as needed basis.
