SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. On November 4, 2020 with Agenda 20-0769 the EHEAP Contract JP219-10-2021 was approved in the amount of $25,338.54. On November 5, the City of Pembroke Pines/Southwest Focal Point Senior Center received an e-mail staying that, Contract JP219-10-2021 funds were reduced by Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) in the amount of $1,823.11.
2. The EHEAP Contract provides home energy assistance aid to elders in the event of a home energy emergency. It is designated to assist low-income households with at least one member 60 years of age or older experiencing a heating or cooling emergency.
3. Amendment 001 represents a decrease in Administrative Costs as follows:
