SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
1. On November 18, 2020, the City Commission authorized the advertisement of IFB # PSPW-20-15 "Citywide Filter Replacement", which was advertised on November 24, 2020.
2. The purpose of this solicitation was to provide Merv 13 Filters which will enhance the filtration systems Citywide due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. On December 10, 2020, the City opened eight (8) proposals from the following vendors:

4. The Public Services Department has reviewed the proposals and has deemed Seherlhde LLC DBA Freedom Air Filtration to be the most responsive/responsible bidder.
5. In addition, Seherlhde LLC DBA Freedom Air Filtration has also completed the Equal Benefits Certification Form and has stated that the Contractor currently complies with the requirements of this section.
6. The Public Services Department would like to add a 10% owner’s contingency to cover any additional filters needed which will increase the total cost from $84,398.50 ...
