Summary Explanation and Background

 

SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1. The City of Pembroke Pines (City) supports roadway and utility work including protection, relocation, installation, adjustment or removal of facilities along Dykes Road, NW 196th Avenue, and NW 10th Street, by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

 

2. During construction of the bicycle lanes on these roadways the FDOT contractor will be modifying and adding drainage, widening and milling and resurfacing and will be impacting certain manholes and valve boxes.

 

3. The City agrees to have FDOT contractor perform this utility work for an estimated cost of $43,377.60 as reflected in Exhibit B.
