SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

1.  This item is a proposed agreement with Cordico/Lexipol software wellness mobile application for (1) year at a cost of $35,000, to be used by the Police Department

2.  The app will contain a variety of content and features pertaining to law enforcement mental and physical health wellness topics, including but not limited to: critical incidents, family support, grief and loss, stress management, physical fitness, nutrition.

3.  The cost will be 100% funded by a federal grant. The wellness app will be made available for use by all Pembroke Pines Police sworn and civilian employees.
