SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:

The material terms of the Addendum are as follows:

                     Base Salary Increases:                     Grandfathered - $2,000.00/yr

                                                                                                         Pay for Performance (Highly Effective) - $2,500.00/yr

                                                                                                         Pay for Performance (Effective)  - $1,875.00/yr

                     New Hire Minimum Salary:  $49,000.00/yr

Ratified by the BTU with a final vote of 97.3% in favor of the Addendum

 

 

Financial Impact

FINANCIAL IMPACT DETAIL:

The total cost of the salary enhancements is $892,599 of which $358,530 will come from charter school reserves and $534,069 will be funded by the state’s Teacher Salary Increase Allocation “TSIA”.
