SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) TS-22-13 “Security Guard Services”
The City of Pembroke Pines is hereby seeking proposals from qualified Contractors for Security Guard Services in a manner that ensures the highest level of security at each facility where services are provided. The contractor shall provide, in all instances as required by the City within the scope of this solicitation, adequate number of personnel to provide the services stipulated herein at the designated locations and hours, as may be amended by the City. In addition, the contractor shall provide all items necessary to provide the service including adequate uniforms, equipment, and vehicles.
(B) TS-23-02 “Sophos Antivirus Renewal for Charter Schools”
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested 3-year renewal of Sophos for the City of Pembroke Pines’ Charter Schools, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
Renewal will be for the following Sophos endpoint protection products:
Sophos Central MDR - Managed Detection and Response Complete (MDRCEU36AIREAA) - Next-gen Endpoint Protection with threat hunting capabilities, and a fully managed 24/7 Threat Hunting and Response service. Sophos MDR provides the Charter Schools with a 24/7 team of threat hunters and response experts who will: Proactively hunt for and validate potential threats and incidents, use all available information to determine the scope and severity of threats, apply the appropriate business context for valid threats, and initiate actions to remotely disrupt, contain, and neutralize threats.
