SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
(A) TS-23-06 “NetApp Centralized Storage Solution”
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested NetApp Centralized Storage Solution to the Technology Services Departments, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. The NetApp storage system provides centralized data storage to all City workstations, mobile devices and applications for public safety, utilities and other key departments through the existing City-wide fiber optic network. The NetApp storage system provides a collection of high performance disk drives that are organized into a single fault-tolerant and redundant system that can be logically partitioned and managed. Servers and workstations connect to this storage system through high-speed network interfaces. Logical drives are created on the NetApp and function as local disk drives to the city servers and workstations.
(B) AD-23-01 "City Connect Newspaper Services"
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to create, print, and distribute the City Connect newspaper every two months for a total of six (6) times in a calendar year, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
(C) Boiler Plate
This attachment is the standard boiler plate language that is used for the solicitations listed above. It is attached to this agenda item separate from the solicitations to reduce the repetition of this item.
