Summary Explanation and Background
Johnston Group, agent for owner, has submitted a site plan amendment application for the development of two office buildings with associated parking, landscaping, traffic circulation and signage on the Century Center site generally located south of Pines Boulevard, between SW 136th and 145th Avenue.
The City recently received a letter from the applicant requesting deferral of the project until the September 27 meeting. This deferral will allow the applicant to meet with residents to discuss the project in detail. A meeting between the applicant and residents has been tentatively scheduled for August 21.
As the item was noticed by staff prior to confirmation of that meeting, the Board must defer the item until a date certain or the City would need to re-advertise the item.
